オンラインレッスンをしていると、椅子の高さやピアノとの距離、足がぶらぶらしてるなどの弾き方が気になる生徒がいます。
そこで今回のテーマは「正しい姿勢で座りましょう」について、イラスト入りの多言語表を作ってみました。
When I give online lessons, I can see how students play at home,
including the height of their chairs and distance from the piano.
Some students have their feet hanging out. Therefore, the theme of this time is “Sit in Proper Posture”
and I made a multilingual table with illustrations.
♪ ピアノの鍵盤の幅の中心に、やや浅めに座る。
フルサイズのピアノは88鍵あり、44鍵目の（ミ）側が中心です。
♫ Sit slightly shallow, in the center of the width of the piano keys.
A full-size piano has 88 keys, and the (E,Mi) side of the 44th key is the center.
♪ 肩と腕の力を抜き、背筋を伸ばします。
♫ Relax your shoulders and arms and straighten your back.
♪ 足の裏を床につけましょう。床に足が届かない場合は台を置きましょう。
♫ Place the soles of your feet on the floor. If you cannot reach the floor with your feet,
place an auxiliary stool.
足がぶらぶらした状態でピアノを弾くと、指に力が入らず、手首に頼って弾く癖がついてしまい、音が安定しません。
そのため、ピアノを弾く際、足が床に届かない場合は補助台が必要となります。
If you play the piano with your feet dangling, your fingers will not be strong and you will get into the habit of relying on your wrists to play, and the sound will not be stable.
Therefore, if your feet cannot reach the floor when playing the piano, an auxiliary stool is essential.
補助ペダルは一時期しか使わないので、必ず買わなければならないものではありません。台という形であれば、
箱や踏み台など、高さに合ったもので代用もできます。また、「ピアノペダルの使い方」の記事にもあるように、
不要になった補助台（ペダルありなし）は生徒同士で譲り合ったりメルカリなどを利用するのもよいでしょう。

Since the auxiliary stool is only used for a period of time, It is hard to say that you must buy an auxiliary stool, but you can substitute with a box, a step stool, or anything else that matches the height.Also, as mentioned in the article “How to Use Piano Pedals” It is also a good idea to share the auxiliary stools (with or without pedals) that are no longer needed with other students or you can find at the flea market site like “Mercari”
